We’re here to help with your Apostille process
JuridConsult (JC) does not issue Apostilles and is not a government authority. We assist you in preparing and attesting your documents, provide sworn translations, and arrange secure courier handling so that you can submit your Apostille request yourself.
If arranging the Apostille yourself is difficult or not possible, JC can also handle the Apostille process on your behalf, ensuring your documents receive the Apostille stamp efficiently. This gives you the flexibility to either manage the process yourself or hand your documents over to JC for further assistance.
Certain documents—like birth certificates, marriage certificates, company extracts, or certificates of residence—may require an Apostille to be accepted internationally. JC helps make the process smoother by preparing and attesting your documents, providing sworn translations, and arranging secure courier delivery.
An Apostille is a stamp under the 1961 Hague Apostille Convention. It confirms that a public document is authentic, allowing it to be used in another country that is part of the Convention.
Once issued, the document is usually accepted abroad without further legalisation.
If your document needs to be used in a country outside the Apostille Convention, a different legalisation route (such as consular legalisation) may apply. JC can explain those steps and help prepare any additional documents if needed.
Whether you choose to do it yourself or hand over the documents to JC, our role is to make the process smooth, accurate, and efficient.
Free consultation on document legalisation and Apostille matters
You must submit your document to the competent court/authority and pay the official fee.
We can prepare your file, check if the document is acceptable, provide sworn translations, and arrange courier delivery, but we are not a government authority and we do not issue apostilles
Timelines depend on the authority and their workload. Some requests are processed within a few days; others take longer. We can tell you the typical range for your document, but the authority decides the final timing.
You cannot obtain an apostille directly from our website.
We are not a government office.
We guide you through what to prepare, help you avoid missing documents, and organise secure shipping so that you can submit your request correctly.
If the destination country is part of the Hague Apostille Convention, an apostille is usually accepted.
If not, you may need consular legalisation. We can explain the extra steps and what documents are usually required.
An apostille usually does not “expire”, but some foreign authorities ask for very recent documents (for example issued within the last 3 or 6 months). Always confirm with the receiving authority in the country where you will use the document.
